Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?

Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation? Obama and McCain have pretty much the same position on this, they both think the bailout legislation needs to pass ASAP. Do you disagree and who are you voting for?

I'll answer myself as an example.

I disagree - McCainWill anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?Yes. I believe it will only prolong the inevitable natural consequences of the situation as it presently exists. But there will be economic failure. We need to just go through it. They should be working with experts (real ones, not the fear mongers.) looking at all alternative market/accounting/regulatory/etc changes needed and calculate the effects. They need to do so without regard to the presidential election, the congressional elections, and so forth. They need to work this out slowly and carefully so they do not risk making the situation any worse than it will become naturally. If it takes months to do so, or years to refine it, then so be it if it is a solution that is potentially effective for the long term.

And no the beginning of this crisis goes much farther back than deregulation , though that made it FAR worse. It goes back to the social engineering project of the Carter years and slightly before, when the "American Dream" of home ownership was almost forced upon people for whom the economic realities were not in line with home ownership. The lending markets began to be manipulated by the government to achieve social agendas and this, over time was made worse and expanded and added to until predatory lending opportunities presented themselves to greedy execs within the socioeconomic framework of the programs. They moved in and all "h- e-double toothpicks broke loose. " There is so much blame and stupidity and greed and social engineering idiocy to go around here we can point fingers until they fall off. Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?
I think that you may not truly understand the severity of the problem or the nature of the solution being debated on Capital Hill. If we do not act, kiss your job good-bye and get ready for a GLOBAL depression. Its that simple...as much as I truly hate the idea of placing the burden on the taxpayer, we truly have little choice. The Plan is more of a "Rescue" than a "Bailout" since there are provisions in the Plan now that help to insure some form of return on the money being doled out. Hopefully, we can even make a profit on it...investing in our economy is not a bad idea if its done right. Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?Well first of all we are in a crisis, what the hell is congress doing, taking off a Holiday, I do not care what dam holiday it is, we are in a crisis, so the Whole world has to recognize a holiday!! that is pure stupidity on the part of our congress, they act like they do not give a dam, while the rest of us are sweating like hell!! As long as they do not put this burden on us tax payers!!!! We have all paid enough, for the fun of others, sad indeed, they could walk away still, with huge bonus"s
mccain and i actually do agree with him on the sec chairman being fired...and his vote to pass the bill and yes i realize the president cant fire the sec chairman but in a perfect world he would have been out on his ***

cause our world is going to crumble as a result...just sit back and watch it, that 700 billion will be chump change time its done and everyone loses their retirement accounts and everything else that is invested..cause its coming..thats what all the financial wizards are predicting....good luckWill anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?I support McCain but the Bail-Out (at this point) is Unconstitutional.

The economy is not that bad and we can bounce back from this unless Obama wins and tries to over tax the Rich. That is a bigger threat to the economy than this slump is.Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?
I completely disagree....And I am very disappointed in McCain, he could have really taken leadership here, and side with the American people and spoken forcefully against this bailout....Obama, well, lets just say, he voted "present" on this whole crisis..

Also McCain
Yes. Definitely against, especially since Lou Dobbs is just going over howe both are coming together to get a bailout passed. Sorry. I want none of it. Looks like I'm going back to Bob Barr. Will anyone here admit they are against their candidate's position on the bailout legislation?
I am against the bail out. I want to go to Wall Street, get the CEOs of AIG and them other guys and beat them senseless in public.

Pegale con la chancleta! La chancla mi'jo.
Totally disagree with McCain, even though that's who I'm voting for. The last thing we need is government control of the financial sector.
I disagree.

Also McCain.
I disagree- McCain
I am a McCain supporter and I do not agree with the bailout AT ALL!
I support Obama, and I think they are both correct to be in favor of the bailout. I do NOT like the bailout, but it is necessary. If Wall Street crashes, then Main Street crashes. That is just how our economy works. We need to be able to prevent this from happening again. McCain has been a champion of government deregulation. That is part of the reason why these businesses failed. They ran their corporations in a corrupt and aggressive manner. If our government had Obama's philosophy, which is wise government regulation, then this crisis may not have ever happened. The bailout is needed, but how our government moves on from here is key. They need to prevent this by having better government regulation. Once again Obama is right and McCain is wrong!
I dissagree with the 700 BILLION bailout 100%. Jacka$$es like McCain caused it by buying more than they can afford! I have 0 sympothy...leave them to starve as far as I'm concerned! I bought a home I could afford and live within my income. (go me lmao).

Voting Obama....I don't like greedy chavonist pigs like McCain.
