So why are they crying out for laws to be passed in America that would hurt Americans and only benefit illegal foreigners.

Also, why wouldn't they think legislation would help them? They already have in the past. I think it was 2 years ago they started searching and shipping some out. If it passes at all, it will be much, much LATER, long after millions of illegal aliens have been forced to return home because there is no work for them and because benefits that they rely on have been cut. High unemployment is forecast to continue well into this decade, and as long as it continues, no politician will be able to make a case that there are jobs Americans just won't do. In fact, some members of Congress are starting to realize that the cheapest way to "create" jobs is to kick 7-8 million illegal aliens out of them and forming their own caucus. It costs little and will make them look good.



In fact, there's really no need for Congress to do anything at all except facilitate enforcement of the law. If it doesn't it won't be able to convince the public to get behind amnesty. We learned from the 1986 amnesty. And if it enforces the law, what we'll be left with in a few years' time are illegal aliens who already have a means to legalize, such as through a spouse or child, and who can be required to do just that without an amnesty.

*******American Blacks are "family". However, Hispanics also use welfare at rates equal to if not higher than Blacks. And since illegal aliens collect welfare on behalf of their U.S-born kids, and have more kids on the average than Americans, well, THEIR welfare use is especially unfair and expensive. If they can't afford kids, they shouldn't be having them, and certainly not having them HERE.

********So, tell us, is your stepdad an illiterate, unskilled illegal alien with less than a grade school education as so many illegal aliens, especially those from Latin America, are? As I've pointed out before, between 1990 and 2006, based on Census figures, we saw an increase in poverty total explained by having 3 million more Hispanics living in poverty following the 1986 amnesty.



If your stepdad makes $80,000 a year, then he's doing a job that an AMERICAN would be eager to do. But do you really think your stepdad would be earning $80,000 a year if we were to amnesty illegal aliens and add guest worker programs? Wanna bet on how many "immigrants" would be willing to undercut your stepdad's salary? Right now, with semi-legal status, he's able to compete as an AMERICAN would. He's protected from competition with illegal aliens.

***********And yet, they somehow haven't managed in more than 8 years to get the Dream Act passed? You'll probably find that most of that ostensible support is much like Obama's promise of amnesty: for show only so long as it doesn't hurt their political prospects.
Every illegal alien would love a government legislation that would legalize their stay in the United States. As whether they would care if it hurts the Americans, i don't think so, just like you not caring about them.
