Is there a Canadian or Ontario legislation requiring all workers with respirators to be clean shaven?

My ex use to be on a volunteer fire department and there certainly use to be a legislation becouse the respirator would not properly seal sometimes if there was facial hair, the same was true for the military regarding gas masks.Is there a Canadian or Ontario legislation requiring all workers with respirators to be clean shaven?This wasn't the right answer in the end, (there's a CSA standard but no legislation), but since you're only person to answer, you get the 10 points.
