When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested & charged with treason?

Yes lets start with Bush and Cheney. When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason?Yes.When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason?
Just because something is unconstitutional doesn't mean it's treasonous. When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason? Are you trying to get rid of all republicans?
To commit treason, you have to knowingly betray your country.

When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, they can't know yet whether the legislation is constitutional or not. That's because the courts don't rule on the constitutionality of legislation until after it is passed.

Do you think our founders would have set up a system where legislators would have to worry about being charged with a crime punishable by death every time they voted for a piece of legislation? Is that how the founders would have assured proper checks and balances among the branches of government?

Would you sign up to be a member of Congress if that were the case? Would anyone? When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason?100%When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason?
Should be, but with our corrupted judicial system, that would be virtually impossible.
No. That is not treason as defined by the Constitution...i.e that would be unconstitutional. So should I charge YOU with treason for suggesting it?When politicians vote to enact unconstitutional legislation, should they be arrested %26amp; charged with treason?
If legislation is unconstitutional it should be ignored. I pay no attention to any local gun bans because they are unconstitutional.
