If you're supposed to go outside and look up at the sky, then it will be very high in the sky for most northern hemisphere locations for most of the night, this time of year. It looks like a W or squished M. The Milky Way runs right through it. For some people it is hard to tell which star is the brightest. Use the chart to help locate it.I need help finding stars of the constellation Cassiopeia? There are various software programs that can help...Planetarium and Voyager are very reliable, and can help. You can also access websites, which I will leave links too.

And fyi, the brightest star in Cassiopeia is Shedar (A Cass) which is the point of the second crook of the familiar W shape. On occasion, Gamma Cass (Navi) can outshine it, since it is a variable star.I need help finding stars of the constellation Cassiopeia?Seriously - download Stellarium. You can set your location and date and time and it shows you what you can see in that location and that time. You can put the constellation lines and stuff on so just search for Cassiopeia on it.
