When will the Leo Constellation be appearing next?

I saw the Leo constellation between 9-12 years ago ( i cant remember the exact amount of years ago that it appeared), but i remember it appeared on the night of my birthday 27th July. i know its going to be a very long time before it appears again, i just wondered if anyone really knew the year, or roughly how many years it will be till it graces our night sky again..

Thank you! When will the Leo Constellation be appearing next?Any constellation visible from a location at a specific time will be visible at that location a year later. Are you sure it's the constellation you mean?

Leo is visible right now in the UK. Look for the Plough, and Leo will be underneath it. (Imagine the plough as a saucepan. Leo will be underneath the bottom of the pan, but as the pan may be turned to the side, it may be to the right of the constellation in they sky rather than directly underneath it.)

If you're struggling to find it then look at some star charts to help you out. :)When will the Leo Constellation be appearing next?Leo is a constellation in the sky. It has been there since the dawn

of recorded history and will remain there essentially as it is today

for thousands of years until the individual stars move to such a degree that

they become unrecognizable as the constellation we know today.

Leo does not vanish and reappear on any cosmic timetable. It is there all

the time The only time of year when it is not visible is when it is directly

behind the sun as seen from the earth. Actually, spring is the time of year

when Leo is most conveniently placed for evening viewing.
