Do members of the European Commission (within the EU) reserve the right to veto legislation by the Parliament?

I just can't find the answer anywhere.Do members of the European Commission (within the EU) reserve the right to veto legislation by the Parliament? It would be redundant for the European Commission to have a veto right because the EC has the sole power of legislative initiative. They are they only ones who can propose legislation. So if they don't want it, they don't propose it!
