Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?

2010.Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?Don't you understand that we are in a crisis? These are dire times and it is urgent that we respond quickly to the 'opportunity to do things you wouldn't be able to do otherwise', according to Rahm Emmanuel. It is like the Stimulus Package that was critical to get the vote on, so much so, in fact, that nobody could be given time to read it. So when it was voted in on a Friday (the thirteenth, btw), it sat gathering dust while Obama was on vacation until the following Tuesday. I still can't see why anyone would question the tactics. They were only looking out for 'the people' in the event. Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?
If they push it through quickly, no one really has a chance to read and consider the full implications and consequences that will result.

In the end, that is usually where the citizens get it.Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?SO that #1 Congress won't read it, #2 the people won't have time to question it, and the third reason is to force feed us socialism
the Republican economic Holocaust is in danger of destroying the USA , move fast or everything will be lostWhy does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?Politicians often use times of crisis to rush legislation through in hopes no one really reads it until it is too late.

See Patriot Act among others. Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?
You mean like what GWB did with the Patriot Act in 2001?
Because two years is not much time to make enough changes to insure continued democrat dependency. Why does the POTUS and company try to hurry legislation on everything?
Your worst nightmare said it well.
If they rush it, no one can see how stupid and wasteful it is.
They don't "hurry legislation on everything". There's a lot to do and they are working to keep things moving rather than bogged down.
